Geological Disasters Early-warning System
Eastdawn developed the geological disasters early-warning system in collaboration with Geo-Environmental Monitoring Institute of China. Through the analysis of geological and environmental base data, this system will calculate the probability of geological disasters occurring in different areas. Meanwhile, the system contains monitoring and forecast data for rainfall provided by the meteorological bureau. Through the analysis of base data and rainfall monitoring data with appropriate disaster forecast model, the system will generate geological hazard maps which will be used for early-warning and decision-making in case of disasters.
This system contains the following data:
- Geographical Information Data
- Seamless satellite images, resolution 2.5m/5m/10m/30m
- DTM(1:25000 scale)
- Vector map (such as the major roads, water and other features information.)
- Rainfall Monitoring data
System features:
- Integration of satellite image data, monitoring data and GIS data in one platform
- Adoptation of WebGIS
- Real-time monitoring
